Our story began with an old armchair and a desire to save it from oblivion. That first project turned into a passion, and then into a business – through work, learning, and lots of time in the workshop.
Our process
In restorations, we fix what time has left behind, and with new pieces, we build everything from the ground up. In both cases, the goal is the same: for the piece to be beautiful, comfortable, and ready for everyday life. Wallpapers are created from the same principle — the design must have rhythm, emotion, and “that something” that makes the space yours.
What we do today
Today Retro Design is not just restoration – in our workshop, new pieces are also created. We restore original retro armchairs and bring back their stability, comfort, and shine, but at the same time we produce new armchairs in a mid-century spirit, made from scratch with the same emphasis on craftsmanship and details.
Along with furniture, we also create wallpapers with original designs in a funky style – signature patterns that give the space energy, color, and that “wow” moment, whether you want a statement wall or a complete retro vibe.
