This page explains the payment methods available when purchasing through our online store retrodesign.shop, how card and PayPal payments are processed, how prices are displayed and how refunds are issued. The payment methods available for a particular order are shown during checkout before the order is submitted.
1. Available payment methods
For standard purchases through our online store, we currently offer:
- online payment by credit or debit card
- payment through PayPal.
The payment methods actually available for each order are shown during checkout. Gift cards are not accepted as a means of payment.
2. Online card payments
Credit and debit card payments are processed by the payment service provider Stripe. RETRO DESIGN d.o.o. does not receive or store your full card number, card security code or other complete card details.
We receive only the information required to confirm and record the transaction, such as the payment status, amount, currency and transaction reference.
3. PayPal
Orders may be paid through PayPal when this option is displayed during checkout. The payment is processed by PayPal in accordance with its applicable terms of service and privacy policy.
RETRO DESIGN d.o.o. receives only confirmation of the payment and limited transaction information required to process the order and maintain business records.
4. Bank transfer for separate quotations
Where a purchase is agreed under a separate quotation outside the standard online store checkout, payment may be made by bank transfer using the payment details and instructions provided in the quotation.
Such orders are not standard online store orders and are governed by the terms stated in the relevant quotation or contract.
5. Prices and total amount
Prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the selected market. For customers in the European Union, displayed retail prices include the applicable VAT.
The final amount payable, including any additional charges applicable to the order, is displayed before the order is submitted.
Deliveries outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, taxes or other local charges. Further information is available in our Shipping Policy.
6. Refunds
Where a customer is entitled to a refund, the reimbursement is made using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction.
A different method of reimbursement, including a bank transfer, is used only where the customer expressly agrees to it and does not incur any additional fees as a result.

7. Payment security and personal data
Complete card details are processed directly by the selected payment service provider. RETRO DESIGN d.o.o. processes only the information required to complete the payment, process the order, issue refunds and comply with applicable legal and accounting obligations.
