Made to order: Our new furniture is handcrafted to order in our own workshop. Production takes 3–4 weeks.

Delivery after production: Delivery usually takes 2–6 business days, depending on the destination country and transport conditions. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking details.

Personal collection: Available by prior arrangement. We can assemble the product before collection if you wish.

Shipping cost: Furniture delivery within the European Union is free. Furniture delivery to the United Kingdom costs €90. Furniture delivery to the United States is currently unavailable through our online store.

Import charges: Customers in the United Kingdom are responsible for any customs duties, taxes and other import charges imposed by the relevant authorities. These charges are not included in the order price, and we cannot determine their amount in advance.

Right of return: For standard products from our online-store range, you may submit a withdrawal notice within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without giving a reason. Retro Design arranges collection through DPD.

Return cost: The direct return shipping cost depends on the product type and the country from which it is returned. The applicable amount is deducted from your refund, and you do not pay the carrier separately. Current amounts and the complete procedure are available on the “Returns and refunds” page.

Product condition and packaging: You may carefully unpack, assemble and try the product only to the extent necessary to inspect its characteristics. It must be safely packaged for return. Original packaging is recommended but not mandatory. The customer is responsible only for any demonstrable diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.

Products made to individual requirements: The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the customer’s genuine individual specifications and agreed through a separate offer outside the online store. Choosing a standard wood colour, material or another option offered in advance is not considered individual customisation.

Damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered product:
Retro Design arranges the solution and covers the necessary collection, repair or replacement costs. Contact us as soon as possible and, where possible, include photographs or a video of the issue.

Damage caused by use:
Damage caused by use is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered by the warranty. Contact us so that we can assess whether a repair is possible.

Warranty:
The warranty lasts 24 months from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
